How to Make an ID Facebook account

How to Make an ID Name on Facebook

Each Facebook profile bears a unique Web address, or URL. When you first create an account, your profile URL is a long string of symbols and numbers. Such convoluted URLs make it difficult to communicate to friends, family and associates where they can find you online. To remedy this, Facebook lets you make a unique ID or "username." If someone knows your username, all she has to do is type "facebook.com/" followed by the username into a Web browser to locate your public profile and send you a friend request. You cannot change your username after setting it.
Step 1
Log in to Facebook, click the "Account" link in the upper right corner of the page and select "Account Settings." This displays all of the configuration options for your Facebook account.
Step 2
Click the "General" tab in the left sidebar and locate the "Username" section in the main window. Type your desired ID in the box provided. If the message "Username is Not Available" appears to the right, type a different ID
